Japanese Ambassador visits the Gardens

On Sunday 16th May we were visited by the Ambassador of Japan Mr. Urabe.

He planted a cherry tree to mark the occasion of the anniversary of the completion of the work. 

Mr. Brian Eida a grandson of Tassa Eida travelled from the U.K. to be with us for the celebrations.
